New work dealing with experimentation and side effects of the cure trail

Lauren was the Tylee Cottage artist in residence in 2001/2 and she moved to Whanganui from Wellington in 2016.

​

She has been described as "one of New Zealand's foremost social conscience artists" and has exhibited her mixed media work nationally and internationally since the early 1980s.

​

Lauren’s wit and keen sense of humour is evident in her work even when discussing important issues and injustices.
