The Coloured Pencil + Atomic Vanitas

In A Gallery we have "The Coloured Pencil". The whimsical imagery of Margaret Silverwood and the photorealistic portraiture of Bonnie Wroe, both artists who excel in the medium of the coloured pencil.

 

In Gallery 85 we have "Atomic Vanitas" - Lynn Hurst.

Lynn's inclusion of imagery of Bikini Atoll and Mururoa nuclear testing clouds anticipates an anniversary or remembrance of sorts.  This coming July it will be 75 years since the United States started its atomic testing program in the Pacific.
