These photographs depict painting in slip on raw clay tablets

Each work is unique - slip is painted onto wet clay and when the painting is complete it is photographed.
The clay tablet is then wiped. Each photograph is an edition of 1.

Doro-e - a painting produced with a type of thick, opaque paint made from inexpensive pigment ground up and mixed with water.
